To say toodles....gonna be heading back to Florida for the winter ..you know how we snowbirds are...gotta keep those tailfeathers warm n toasty...probably wait till Dec 26th.....shouldn't be much traffic at that time..wait any longer and the "Bowl Game" nuts will be filling the highways and byways...yep..looking forward to dipping my tootsies in the Indian River as I cast my line out hoping for a nice redfish or snapper...sigh...just thinking about it makes me droozy..zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Flounder, Pompano, redfish, red snapper, mango snapper, all kinds of goodies in the Indian river ..which is a salt water river

What I like most about the Indian River and the misquito lagoon is the beauty and quietness...we have a special place where we can see the manatee swim by....and the eagles and osprey are everywhere...the place has maintained some of the natural beauty of Florida, Disney and others have just about ruined the place....but every now and then you get a glimpse of the way it was ..right now up in these mountains of North Carolina...we are getting blasted with snow...looks like a white Christmas for us yeah!!!

On Golden Pond..

I love fishing too Mum and my favourite fish is flathead. I see too many people hauling in the big ones and not releasing them. They just dont realise that the big ones are the breeding mammas and without them theres no lil ones..
